Glazed porcelain tiles in 60x60 cm are the volume format for floors in housing, retail and hotel projects. Morbi in Gujarat, India, is the largest export cluster for this size and competes on price with Chinese producers, while Türkiye and Spain supply the higher design segment. Buyers are tile distributors, building material showrooms and contractors who order by the container in several designs. The FOB price moves with gas and energy costs at the kilns, factory utilisation, container freight and anti-dumping duties in some destination markets.
