1121 basmati sella rice
Extra long grain parboiled basmati from India and Pakistan, the standard rice for Gulf wholesalers and HoReCa buyers.
- HS 100630
- CFR Jebel Ali
- Minimum order: One 20ft container

1121 sella is basmati paddy that is parboiled before milling, which gives a firm, non-sticky grain that grows to more than twice its length when cooked. India supplies most of the world trade, with Pakistan as the second origin. Main buyers are rice importers, wholesalers and HoReCa suppliers in the Gulf, Iraq, Iran, East Africa and Europe, as well as brand owners who repack under their own label. The price follows the new paddy crop that arrives from October, mill buying in Haryana and Punjab, the rupee exchange rate, any minimum export price set by the Indian government and container freight. We offer golden, white and creamy sella in 1121 grade, as spot lots or term contracts with monthly loadings, on a CFR Jebel Ali basis.
