PP homopolymer, raffia grade
Polypropylene homopolymer raffia grade, MFI about 3, for woven sacks, FIBC big bags, tapes and twine.
- HS 390210
- CFR Jebel Ali
- Minimum order: One 40ft container

Raffia grade PP homopolymer is extruded into flat tapes that are woven into sacks for cement, grain, sugar and fertiliser, FIBC big bags and twine. It is the largest single PP grade traded across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The main exporting origins are Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Iran and India, with China a growing exporter. Buyers are woven sack and FIBC makers and polymer distributors. Prices move with propylene and naphtha costs, the monthly announcements of Gulf producers, Chinese export volumes and freight. In October 2026 Gulf list prices for raffia rose by about 10% on the month on higher feedstock and logistics costs. We offer prime Gulf or Asian raffia grades CFR Jebel Ali or to the destination port, in full container loads, priced to the monthly market and confirmed by proforma.
