Refined sunflower oil is the main cooking oil in much of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Ukraine and Russia crush most of the world's sunflower seed, and Türkiye refines imported crude oil and re-exports it. Bulk refined oil is bought by bottlers, repackers, food processors, snack makers and HoReCa distributors. Prices follow the Black Sea seed crop, crushing margins, port and war risk logistics in the Azov and Black Sea, Ukrainian export floor prices and duties, and the spread to palm and soybean oil. Crude sunflower oil is the reference, with refined grades trading at a premium for refining and winterising. We offer refined oil in 20ft flexitanks or larger bulk parcels on a FOB Black Sea basis, with CFR Jebel Ali on request.
