Refined corn oil is a light, high smoke point oil valued for frying and home cooking, and it sells at a premium to sunflower oil in many Gulf and North African markets. It is extracted from corn germ, a by-product of corn milling and starch production, so supply depends on the milling industry rather than on a dedicated oilseed crop. Türkiye, the United States, Argentina and Russia are leading exporters. Buyers are oil importers, bottlers, supermarket chains, restaurants and caterers in the Gulf, Libya, Iraq and East Africa. Prices follow corn germ availability, the sunflower and soybean oil complex, biodiesel demand and freight. We offer refined corn oil in flexitanks or in 1 to 5 L PET bottles on a CFR Jebel Ali basis.
