PET preforms are the injection moulded tubes that bottlers blow into finished bottles on their own lines. The 28 mm PCO 1881 neck is the common finish for still water and soft drinks in 330 to 600 ml sizes. China is the largest exporter, with Türkiye, the UAE and Saudi Arabia supplying the region on shorter routes. Buyers are water bottlers and beverage fillers in Africa, the Gulf and Central Asia who do not run their own injection moulding. About two thirds of the price is bottle grade PET resin, so offers follow resin costs, which track PTA, MEG and oil, plus container freight and summer demand peaks. We offer it per 1,000 pieces FOB China, priced by preform weight, as spot containers or monthly call-offs.
